Wollsdorf Leder counts not only as one of Austria's most traditional leather producers but also as one of Europe's leading leather producers. We currently employ a workforce of about 350 persons. And we process a daily average of 1500 cattle hides from Austria and Southern Germany. Our products are exported to over 30 countries world-wide - with an export rate of 98%. Our main customers are primarily from the upholstered furniture and the automobile industry. On top of this, we supply the aircraft and boat industry, and manufacturers of special (motorcycle) clothing.

The reason for the success of our enterprise, we like to think, is the credible and consistent implementation of our slogan: Quality: I've got you under my skin.

On the 1st September 1996 we were the first European tannery to achieve the Environmental Management System for upholstery leather, automotive upholstery leather, aircraft leather, garment leather, steering wheel leather, boat leather and by-products.

A re-audit was conducted in February 2001 and this will take us through to the year 2004.
